We are a month in to the Future of Business Africa summits scheduled to take place in West, East and Southern Africa.
Two of the six key areas we are looking at are the future of education and the future of work in Africa, and whether the current education systems are well equipped for the 4th industrial revolution and technological disruptions taking place globally.
Our first three stops were Ashesi University, Lancaster University and Webster University – all in Accra, Ghana. Needless to say, the conversations have been engaging and we’re excited about the outcomes. Out of Lancaster University a venture capital fund has been born for young innovative millennials to begin focusing on funding their own ideas – as opposed to relying on aid or non-existent government funds.
At different summit stops we will engage the private sector and policy makers on viable and sustainable strategies to plug the growth gaps in business, innovation and technology.
You can watch some highlights from the summit at Ashesi University here.
