When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
We collect emails for the purpose of sending updates to subscribers on upcoming events, articles, digital resources and programmes. Users can opt-out at any time and data is never shared with any 3rd parties.
The information collected from the Contact Form is collected for the purpose of contacting users with a view of responding to their queries as well as sending regular updates, news and useful resources. You can remove your name from our list by unsubscribing at any time.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Automated decision-making is where a decision is made by automated means without any human involvement. When you subscribe to our mailing list or download a digital resource your email is added to the generic mailing list. When you confirm your subscription or read / listen to the digital resource, your email is automatically moved to our ‘engaged’ mailing list. When you unsubscribe, your email is automatically removed from our mailing list.
