As mentioned earlier, the UAE and Kuwait are a part of the overall $2.27 billion weapons trade; however, the UAE boasts the highest chunk of the sales.

The proposed package would also include Mk-152 high-explosive warheads, MK66 rocket motors, proximity fuzes, and training warheads.
The deal would further provide inert rocket motors, support equipment, technical publications and documentation, as well as transportation services.
US government agencies and contractors would provide engineering, technical, training, and logistical assistance as part of the package, alongside other services needed to support the programme.
The proposed sales form part of Washington’s ongoing military cooperation with its Gulf partners and would provide Kuwait and the UAE with additional equipment, maintenance and support for their armed forces.
